A contemplative space for visual stories
I paint from emotions and feelings — they simply turn into paintings.
This piece began with my great astonishment at human foolishness.
I went to a casino with a man who was courting me. Even before the game began, he was already fantasizing about what would happen if I won, and what would happen if he won — but what interested him most was whether I would share my winnings with him if I won. He asked me directly. I said "no." He got offended.I was stunned. We have a saying for this: "dividing the skin of a bear that hasn't been killed yet." We hadn't even started playing, and he was already offended that I wouldn't share an imaginary win with him. It struck me as deeply absurd.I never ended up playing. But I started painting. What began as a spontaneous reaction slowly turned into this strange, colorful, almost surreal creature. The painting became my answer to the absurdity of that moment. Sometimes, when reality becomes too ridiculous, the only sane response is to turn it into art.
Inspired by a real encounter. Transformed by imagination.

Life is an endless sea.The wind and the current will always try to decide your course. You can surrender to them, or you can raise your own sails and choose your own horizon. The destination is not determined by the waves, but by the courage to steer.

Painted during one of my trips to Cannes, where the sea has become a quiet, recurring source of inspiration.
