A journey through love, nature and the unknown
Some stories begin unexpectedly. Mine began with a trip to Cannes. I arrived in the South of France and suddenly fell in love — with a place, with the Mediterranean, with its light, its colours, its sea, and with someone who seemed to share my way of seeing the world.
We travelled to each other every three weeks, collecting moments that became unforgettable memories: sunsets in the mountains, sunrises by the sea, evenings on terraces listening to the waves, swimming in warm, transparent water and discovering the extraordinary little world beneath its surface.
Each painting in this collection captures a different feeling — the beauty of sharing a moment, the freedom of becoming part of nature, and the curiosity that draws us towards the unknown. They are not illustrations of places. They are memories translated into colour, movement and emotion.

I · Sharing beauty
We witnessed dozens of beautiful sunsets and sunrises — in the mountains, by the sea, and from a terrace, accompanied by the gentle sound of the waves. Every time the colours were different: delicate pinks, warm yellows, orange, lavender and unexpected shades of blue.
But what made these moments truly special was sharing them with someone who was on the same wavelength. This painting is about the beauty that surrounds us every day, and how much more meaningful it becomes when we can share it with another person.
Happiness is sometimes simply being in the right place, at the right moment, with the right person.

II · Freedom
I used to swim in the Mediterranean wearing only a mask and fins, drifting with the gentle current in warm, transparent water while schools of fish moved around me. Sometimes I felt as if I were one of them — swimming with the school, following the rhythm of the sea. Below me, little crabs moved across the seabed and molluscs slowly explored their underwater world.
There was no need to do anything, no need to hurry. Just floating, breathing and feeling completely connected to the sea. This painting is my expression of that freedom and harmony — the feeling of belonging to something much bigger than myself.

III · Fear & curiosity
The underwater world is not always peaceful. Dark, tangled underwater forests fascinated me and frightened me at the same time. What is hiding in those depths? In the darkness, imagination creates monsters and frightening stories. Yet darkness does not necessarily mean something terrible — perhaps an ancient pirate treasure lies hidden among those branches.
And despite the fear, curiosity always wins. I still want to swim closer, look deeper and enter that mysterious underwater cave — because what if there really is treasure waiting inside? This painting is about the unknown that attracts us even when it frightens us, and the courage to keep discovering.

This collection is still growing. More paintings will follow, inspired by the same Mediterranean memories. Because the world is full of extraordinary beauty — sometimes we just need to stop, look around and allow ourselves to experience it.
